How will your student earn a competitive advantage for career and/or college?
South Eugene High School offers empowering CTE programs featuring active and engaging experiential learning. Can you or your student name all six CTE offerings specific to SEHS?
Experiential Learning programs are available to all South students. Most are completed over one or two full years as a junior and/or senior, but it is invaluable for families of freshmen and sophomores to discuss these programs now in preparation for engaging in a CTE of choice during high school.
South Eugene High School CTE Programs include:
These SEHS CTE Programs are coordinated by gifted South faculty in each field.

MIDTERMS
A reminder to all families that midterms are right around the corner. Please check student grades and assist in preparing for this important mid-point in the semester. Now is the time for students to catch up on any missed assignments and to begin studying for exams. Reach out to any teachers in classes where there may be need for additional support, and always know that counselors are available to assist as well. November 6 is midterm grading day and will be a no school day for students.
CLUB AXE Club Axe is a twice-weekly after school tutoring session that meets on Mondays and Thursdays in the SEHS Library from 3:30-4:30. Utilize this resource especially as midterms approach! Everyone is invited to come get some work done with support from teachers and peer tutors. Plus, there are snacks!
SENIOR INTERVIEWS All students in the class of 2027 should now be scheduling and attending their mandatory senior interview. Counselors will review transcripts, senior year courses, graduation plan, and post high school options during this meeting.
