Athletics Registration

REGISTRATION REQUIRED PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION:

All participants will be required to register through our district sponsored athletic registration platform. This process is different than what has been used in the past so make certain you take the time to register early in the event you have questions.  The link to the registration information and process can be found HERE.

MEDICAL INSURANCE AND PHYSICALS REQUIRED PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION

All participants must have proof of medical insurance. Myers-Stevens offers athletic school insurance at Myers-Stevens.

A current physical is required to participate.  Physicals are good for two years.  If your student already submitted a physical last school year, that physical will still be good for this year. An OSAA approved physical form can be found here:   

If desired, you can schedule an appointment for a physical at either of the district’s two Health centers at North Eugene High School (541.790.4445) or Churchill High School (541.790.5227).

There are several ways to submit a physical form:

  • You may scan or photograph the completed physical form (must submit both pages) and upload it into the InTouch registration system.
  • You may drop off the form in person at the South office
  • You may mail the completed form to: Marlee Hansen (SEHS Athletic Trainer), 400 East 19th, Eugene, OR 97401

ATHLETIC FEES

There will be no fee to participate in optional pre-season training and conditioning. In season fees are as follows.

SCHEDULES FOR WORKOUTS:

When finalized, SEHS’s practice calendars can be found on the SEHS Athletics page. The workouts are optional pre-season workout opportunities.  Not all programs will be providing opportunities for pre-season training and conditioning for all sports.

PARTICIPANT SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

All students must come to workouts dressed in athletic apparel ready to participate. Locker areas will not be available to change clothing items.

ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN CONTESTS:

The academic eligibility requirements have not changed.  All students must have passed 2.5 credits in the previous semester and must be enrolled in and passing 2.5 credits during the sport season. In addition, the student must be on track to graduate. If a student failed to meet any of these requirements a hardship request may be possible to file with the OSAA. Please contact your school athletic director with academic eligibility questions.
