Do you like writing letters and earning volunteer hours? If so, Letters for Rose is the club for you! Letters for Rose meets in room 304 every Tuesday during lunch. Please join us in bringing cheer to members of our community.

Tomorrow at 7:00 PM the new South Eugene Football Coach Eric Scott will be hosting a parent and player meeting in the cafeteria. All interested players should attend.

COLLEGE VISITS

Are Minneapolis College of Art and Design or Cal State Chico on your list of possible colleges? Both schools will have a virtual visit with South students on Thursday, May 15th. Chico State will visit at 10:15, and Minneapolis College of Art and Design will meet with students at 12:25. Check your email from Lori Sauter sent last Monday for the URLs or find them in Naviance.

THEATRE

South Eugene Theater’s FINAL show of the year has their final weekend beginning this Friday! Directed by Marley Hines, written by Robert Harling, Steel Magnolias is about six southern women in a small town in Louisiana. This heart wrenching play is about community, loss, and recovery. Tickets are available on SEHS Theatre Website and are also available at the door.

INTERNATIONAL TRIP

Are you interested in different languages and cultures? Here’s a chance to discover the mysteries of the Mayan civilization, zipline through lush jungles, and snorkel in the crystal clear Caribbean waters during Spring Break 2026 when we visit Belize. Come see art teacher Yasmin in room 521 for a flyer and come to the informational meeting TONIGHT at 5:30 in Room 521.

BIPOOC

Calling all BIPoC students! Join us for lunch as we celebrate our another school year of building community, and wish our soon-to-graduate seniors all the best in their future endeavors. We will meet on Monday, 5/19 in room 25 during the last 30 minutes of period 2 and lunch. Hope to see you there!

SENIORS

SEHS Class of 2025! Your caps and gowns and guest tickets for graduation are available for pick up TODAY. Distribution will be held at lunchtime and after school until 3:45 in the main hallway all of this week. All check out tasks must be completed before you can receive your gown and tickets!
