PLEDGE

PHILOSOPHY

Nietzsche’s Niche philosophy club is meeting again this monday in room 702a during lunch. Come join the fun exploring a wide variety of topics.

RECYCLING

Teachers - Please have your recycling bins near or outside your door. Thanks!

WRITING CLUB

Writing Club meets today and every Friday at Lunch in Room 504. Everyone is welcome!

FRISBEE

The South Eugene Gender Diverse Ultimate Frisbee Team is having a fundraiser at MOD Pizza all day today! Show a picture of the flier posted around school and on their instagram at the East 29th MOD to support them for their trip to Nationals in Pennsylvania!

RECYCLING

Participate in the bottle drop run by EG350, your environmental club! Help us recycle responsibly. Look for new blue bins around the school to recycle your empty bottles and cans. Acceptable materials include uncrushed glass, plastic, and metal.  

GSA

Field Trip to Western Oregon University for LBGTQ+ students on Friday, March 7th!  Explore WOU campus, talk to LGBTQ+ college students & faculty, eat lunch and meet other LGBTQ+ high school students from across Oregon.  Get your permission slip from Ms. Dodd in room 30 by THIS Friday, Feburary 21st.  4J Bus spots are on a first come, first served basis, so sign up for this field trip NOW if you want to go!  

JUNIORS

Attention Juniors! Registration is now open for spring SATs. The test will be held on Friday, April 18^th.  You must opt-in if you want to take the exam! Please complete the google form to sign up - a QR code to register is posted outside the counseling center. There is no fee for this opportunity to test.

SENIORS

Hey, seniors! The ballot for yearbook senior superlatives is open. Check your email and cast your votes for the seniors you nominated last week. The ballot is open until Friday, Feb. 21 at midnight. 

FOOD DRIVE

Ms. Dodd’s 3rd period Axe class has organized a food drive next week from 2/24-2/28. All proceeds will go to Food For Lane county. This is the time of the year when holiday donations start to run dry. Please donate if you can! Bins are located by the main entrance and outside room 30. 

THEATRE

South Eugene Theater’s musical of the year, Legally Blonde is beginning their second weekend of the show TONIGHT! Don’t miss your chance to watch and support our lovely cast and crew! Showing tonight at 7:00 and this Sunday at 2:00, with tickets available from the QR codes on the  posters around the school, or on our website southeugenetheater.com! Tickets are also available for purchase at the door. See you there!
