PEER TUTORS

After school on Wednesdays, we have peer tutors in the library waiting to help you with spanish, japanese, math, social studies, math in spanish, science and french.  Peer tutoring is every Wed after school in the library until 3:30.  Please drop-in and get help with your classwork!

ETHICS

Think you know right from wrong? Join South’s Ethics Club for small, casual discussions about complex ethical problems! Meetings happen every Thursday at lunch, in Room 409.

Hey Seniors! Nominations are open for yearbook Senior Superlatives. Check your email for the link to the nomination form, and nominate yourself or your friends by midnight this Friday, Feb. 14.

LAX 

Interested in Playing Boys lacrosse this spring? There will be a player/ parent meeting February 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 in the cafeteria. This meeting is for All current players and interested players. 

BASKETBALL 

The SEHS Unified Team is having their annual home game on February 13th at 6:00 PM in the Main gym! We would love to see lots of fans there to support our team. Come out and cheer on the Axe as we take on the Willamette Wolverines! This event is free for everybody. 

NHS 

National Honor Society Applications are now being accepted until March 21st at noon, stop by room 708 and scan the QR code on the wall.

SOCIOLOGY

Juniors and Seniors, there is still time to join Sociology this semester. You can take it as an interesting elective or earn up to four 200-level college credits with a little more effort. Come learn about society and its patterns of power, difference, and transformation. 

THEATRE

South Eugene Theater’s musical of the year, Legally Blonde, opens this Friday, Valentine’s day! Starring Wilder Teague as the glamorous Elle Woods, along with Owen McMorran as her annoying ex, Warner, and also featuring Eleanor Turner as Paulette, and Zack Kline as Emmett!
