RUBY BRIDGES

Join us this Thursday morning to commemorate Ruby Bridges, who on November 14, 1960 became the first African American student to integrate into an elementary school in the South. We will meet at Washington Park at 7:45 and walk to school together to stand up for social justice, equity and inclusion in our schools. Hot drinks will be served!

COLLEGE VISITS

South’s College and Career Center has 5 visits left this week! Today, Northern Arizona University will visit at 10, and we’ll have an apprentice lineman at lunchtime. Thursday, you can check out the University of Mississippi’s virtual visit, and in-person visits from the Army National Guard and Ithaca

THEATRE

Auditions for South Eugene Theater winter shows are today! Stop by the Auditorium after school to audition for either Wait Until Dark, directed by Gage Wagner, or our winter musical, Legally Blonde, directed by John Monteverde. No preparation required. We hope to see you there!
