CLUB 9
Club 9 is a group that focuses on Freshmen homework assistance in the library every Monday and Thursday of the week. They meet from 3:30-4:30 with amazing teachers who are willing to help with all school subjects. If you need help with your homework, please swing by! If you have any questions, please contact Mr. C in the counseling office. 

CODING
Are you interested in website design, coding, graphic design, or game design? Register to compete in the codeORcreate 3-day hackathon sponsored by Connected Lane County. This free, in-person event challenges teams of one to five students to create a tech-based solution for a community problem. The hackathon takes place from December 8 through 10, and registration is due November 27. Find the registration form at connectedlane.org, or email Lori Sauter in the college and career center for the link.

INTRAMURAL
Get ready to serve, spike, and have a ball! Intramural volleyball has reached the semi finals. Come watch the last teams play on Tuesday and finals on Friday of this week, in the main gym, during lunch. See you soon!\

WATER POLO
The South Eugene girls water polo team placed 2nd at the state tournament in Corvallis over the weekend. South defeated Tigard 13-0, Lake Oswego 18-6, and Barlow 11-2 before falling to Lakeridge 11-7 in the state championship game. This was the highest finish ever for the South Eugene girls water polo team. In addition to placing 2nd several girls received all state honors.
1st Team All State: Hannah Cox, Nola Cox, and Maggie McMillen
2nd Team All State: Verena Cary
Honorable Mention All State: Sachi Schindler and Amelia Sydes
