MEDICAL
Calling all future health care professionals!! Want to learn more about the medical field and the topics involved in medicine? Come to HOSA club on Tuesdays during lunch in Julia Harvey’s room, 419 to learn more. The first meeting is October 31! We will be discussing what HOSA is, and registering for competitions. Please let me know if you have any questions!
BAKE SALE
Today is the final day to pick up a tasty treat from feminist union’s bake sale! Head on over to the main entrance after school, all proceeds go to women’s sports teams at south!
SOCCER
Tomorrow our very own boys soccer team will face off in their first playoff game of the year, at the south turf at 5pm. Entrance fees for all south students will be paid by our south soccer club!
CROSS COUNTRY
South Eugene XC swept the southwest conference championship wednesday, beating out sheldon and roseburg for the top spot with a purple wave in both the JV races. Special shoutout to Elizabeth mccart who got first place is girls varsity, and Yoskuke Shibata who got 4th place in boys varsity, they were South’s top finishers! Go support south cross country at state next saturday at LCC. Go axe!
LIFETOUCH
If you haven’t had a school photo taken yet this year, you must do so today! Lifetouch will be available in the gym lobby until 1:30pm for photo re-takes and for anyone who missed the first two rounds of photos. Get down there!
