SPIRIT WEEK
Thank you to everyone participating in spirit week! We are loving all of your Adam Sandler outfits! If you want to be featured on our student government instagram, send a picture to @sehsstugov or tag us in your story! Tomorrow is Jersey day so rep your favorite team!
COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS DAY
PreACT! On Thursday, October 12th we have our annual College and Career Readiness Day. On that day all 10th graders will take the PreACT starting at 8:30. Test room assignments will be posted outside the counseling office. Please bring a #2 pencil and calculator and see Michael Leahy in counseling with questions about the PreACT.
COLLEGE REP
A rep from Southern Oregon University will visit the college and career center this Tuesday, October 3rd at 12:20. There will also be a 1:05 virtual visit on Tuesday from Lewis & Clark College. Come see what these smaller Oregon schools have to offer.
MODEL UN
Model United Nations will meet today in room 524 during lunch. New members are welcome.
MATH
Are you interested in taking the AMC, the American Mathematics Competition Exam this year? Please go talk to Sarah Heacox-Jackson, the algebra teacher in Room 726 any time this week.
SENIORS
Seniors!!! Are you planning to apply to a 4 year college? If so, you must complete a purple packet which can be picked up in the counseling office. And all seniors– it’s time to schedule your Senior Interview with your counselor. It’s a chat about graduation requirements and post high school plans. Please use the QR code outside the counseling office to access the scheduler.
HOMECOMING
If you are wanting to bring a non-South guest to Homecoming, the guest request form must be completed entirely, and submitted to our main office by 3:45 tomorrow afternoon. Late requests will not be considered.
BUS PASS
If you haven’t renewed your bus pass yet, you can bring it to the main office during lunch to do so. The previous year’s bus pass expired on Saturday and you will need to have it reloaded in order to ride LTD for free.
