GSA:
GSA meets for lunch today and every Thursday in Room 30. All are welcome. See you there!
CHESS:
South Eugene chess team will hold the first official meeting today in the physics lab. Come join us to prepare for the State Championship in November or just simply to play with your friends. All skill levels are welcome.
PSAT:
Juniors do you want to take the new digital PSAT? The PSAT will take place on College and Career Readiness Day on Thursday, October 12th during the school day starting at 8:30. You should have received an email in Canvas and via Naviance with the registration form link. The deadline to register is the end of the school day on Wednesday, October 4th. Contact Michael Leahy in counseling if you have questions or need the link to register.
COLLEGE REPS:
Come by the college and career center today at 10:10 to meet with a rep from the University of Redlands or at 1:05 to participate in a virtual visit with Bowdoin College. Interested in the University of Chicago? Come on down to the college and career center tomorrow at 9:00 to learn more about it.
SENIORS:
SENIORS! It is now time to schedule a Senior Interview with your counselor. Please go to the SEHS Counseling webpage and click on the scheduling link.
It’s also time to order your graduation gear! Go to minersgrad.com and click on ‘graduation supplies.’…There’s a bunch of fun swag which is all optional, but a cap & gown is required to participate in the graduation ceremony! Order by October 4th and get your gear in just 3 weeks!
SPORTS:
Girls Varsity Soccer plays tonight, at home at 6! Girls varsity volleyball also plays tonight at home, at 6:45!
Are you planning on playing a sport at South in the winter, spring, or next year? If the answer is yes, then you need at least 5 classes at all times! If you have less than 5 classes you need to come to the office today.
