BIG NEWS: Congratulations to South Eugene Wrestling’s Team Captain and State Wrestling qualifier, Ronan Schmidt who has qualified for Freestyle Nationals in June. Ronan will be representing South Eugene in the 182 pound class at Fargo, North Dakota! Way to go Ronan – we are all proud of you and Go South!

FLIGHT CLUB: What’s the first rule of Flight Club?? Come to the first meeting of SEHS’s Flight Club TODAY in Room 523 to find out! This club is devoted to learning about and maintaining flight systems and the care and transport of SEHS’s new Flight Simulator from the Lane Aviation Academy. This club will meet every Thursday during lunch and you can expect to: 

• Learn about the flight Simulator
• Have fun with peers interested in flight
• Be a nerd, with other nerds

We hope to see all of you here; the more people that join, the faster we can get our new flight simulator, learning how it works and start experiencing flight training. 

INTRAMURAL: Starting next week, there will be an intramural basketball tournament every Wednesday in the big gym! The first match will be on Wednesday May 3. Sign ups are on the stugov Instagram and the QR codes posted around the school! the winning team will get a prize!

MINDFULNESS: Mindfulness club is happening at lunch in the amazon room tomorrow! Come talk, meditate and relax on Fridays, we are always open to new members!

GSA: GSA will meet tomorrow during lunch in Room 30. All are welcome. See you there! 

LAPTOPS: Attention all student laptop users. This is mandatory!! If you don’t yet have your mandatory laptop cover sleeve, Rose will be in the cafeteria during lunch today so you can see her to pick up your mandatory laptop sleeve. These sleeves are mandatory, so see Rose in the cafeteria during lunch today to get one.
