NHS: National Honor Society meets tomorrow, Tues. the 11th, during lunch. Please bring your volunteer log sheet for Trimester 2. 

Applications for next year’s National Honor Society are available in the office and the College and Career Center. Current members do not need to re-apply. Deadline is 4:00 PM this Friday, April 14. Late applications will. Not. Be. Accepted. 

CAREER FAIR: Seniors, are you hoping to start your career right after high school? If you are, register to attend the Hiring Fair for Graduating Seniors. You have to sign up by Wednesday, April 12, and the fair takes place Wednesday, April 19. Employers for entry-level jobs will be there, and participants should bring a resume. There won’t be any summer jobs or jobs for students who will be in school next year. See your email from last Monday from Lori Sauter or visit the college and career center in room 7 for more information.

MBDA: HI All! Do you identify as neurodivergent and or body divergent? Do you want to learn more about what the heck these terms mean? Then come by South’s newest affinity group – Mind & Body Divergence Alliance! Every Monday at Lunch in Room 411 TODAY!!! 

VOLUNTEER: Many volunteer positions are still available for the 2023 Friends of the Eugene Public Library Book Sale. Any students interested in helping out between April 14th  and 16th are invited. FOOTBALL: Any Freshmen and Sophomores considering competing in Football this fall need to attend the lunch time meeting in Room 4  this THURSDAY.

RADIO: Attention radio fans! SEHS radio club will be meeting Tuesday at lunch in room 415. We will be practicing morse code, talking over handheld radios, and planning future activities. If you are interested in learning more about radio technology or just want to have some fun, come on down!

SENIORS: Next Thursday, April 20th, Miners Graduate Services will be on campus to distribute graduation announcements. You can pick them up at the table in the hall right by the main office between 11:00 and 1:00. If you ordered any other graduation gear, such as sweatshirts, keychains, souvenir tassels, memory books, etc, you can stop by the main office to pick them up any time. 

ROBOTICS: The South Eugene Robotics Team, made up of a majority of SEHS students and several other high school students from the Eugene/Springfield community, traveled to Cheney, WA, this week and finished 8th out of 123 teams in the Pacific Northwest District. This qualified the team for the FIRST Championship in Houston next week where they will compete against the 600 best teams in the world. Congratulations to SERT team members and good luck at Worlds!
