NHS: The last NHS meeting for Trimester 2 is Tuesday, March 14th, during lunch. Please bring your Volunteer Log Sheets to this meeting.
Applications are available for next year’s National Honor Society. Criteria include a GPA of 3.6 or higher, strong leadership skills, and a strong sense of community service. Applications are available in the College and Career Center (Room 7) and the front office. There is an absolute deadline of Friday, April 14.
COLLEGE REPS: Wednesday is college visit bonus day! We’ll have two visits in the college and career center (room 7). A Northern Arizona University rep will visit at 12:50. Then, at 2:30, there will be a visit for students who have been admitted to the University of Oregon. The U of O rep will discuss what to do next if you’re Oregon bound.
LACROSSE: The South Eugene Boys Lacrosse team will be playing their first home game on Tuesday, March 14 at 6 pm. Come watch as South Eugene takes on Thurston High School! Go Axe.
LETTER WRITING: Do you like creating art or letter writing? Get volunteer hours during lunch by joining the Letters For Rose club! Letters For Rose meets during lunch today and every Tuesday in room 408.
BAKE SALE: Rotary Interact Club is having a bake sale this week Monday thru Wednesday during lunch in the main hall! Come buy some baked goods!

CREDIT RECOVERY: Are you a junior or senior who needs credits to graduate on-time? Earn up to 1 credit in Language Arts or Social Studies by taking classes from South’s Extended Day Program. These after-school classes are held Monday-Thursday starting on April 4th. Contact your counselor about enrolling for Trimester 3! The deadline to enroll is April 7th.
