RADIO: “Attention all students!  Do you want to learn about HAM radio and how to get your very own license? JUNIORS: Juniors! It’s time to schedule your Junior Interview. This is a great time to chat with your counselor about graduation requirements, summer plans, and Senior year courses. 

LETTER WRITING: Do you like creating art or letter writing? Get volunteer hours during lunch by joining the Letters For Rose club! Letters For Rose meets during lunch today and every Tuesday in room 408.

BOYS LACROSSE: The South Eugene Boys Lacrosse team is holding a Player/Parent meeting at 6 pm Wednesday, February 22.  The meeting will take place in the South Eugene Cafeteria.  The season is about to begin, and new players are always welcome!  Play lacrosse at South!

LATINX: Attention everyone!  TODAY is Carnaval!  Carnaval, or “Mardi gras” in French, is a time to celebrate the good things in life, like food, friends, and fun.  Please join Latinx Student Union in Room 29 at lunch TODAY to learn more about Carnaval, and to celebrate with us.  We’ll have king cake, beads, and we’ll watch the Carnaval parade in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

NASU: NASU meets today during lunch, in Room 306. 

FORD SCHOLARS: College-bound seniors, if you are academically high achieving, can demonstrate a strong work ethic, have significant financial need, and plan to attend college in Oregon, apply for the Ford Scholars program. This local scholarship covers most of the cost of attendance at an Oregon  4-year college or community college. The application is due March 1st and is  highly-competitive, so get started right away. For more information, look at the SEHS scholarship webpage, or see Lori Sauter in room 7.

MODEL UN: Model UN meets today at lunch in room 541. For members already in the club, attendance is mandatory!

FUN AT HEART: Join us this Friday February 24th from 8-10 pm at Fun at Heart! Our Valentine’s Day themed carnival will be filled with booths, games, popcorn and live music ! The activities of the night will be run by our own clubs, affinity groups and sports teams, come check it out! Bring cash to buy your tickets and be ready to have a lot of fun!
