LATINX: Attention everyone! TODAY is Carnaval! Carnaval, or “Mardi gras” in French, is a time to celebrate the good things in life, like food, friends, and fun. Please join Latinx Student Union in Room 29 at lunch TODAY to learn more about Carnaval, and to celebrate with us. We’ll have king cake, beads, and we’ll watch the Carnaval parade in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

FORD SCHOLARS: College-bound seniors, if you are academically high achieving, can demonstrate a strong work ethic, have significant financial need, and plan to attend college in Oregon, apply for the Ford Scholars program. This local scholarship covers most of the cost of attendance at an Oregon 4-year college or community college. The application is due March 1st and is highly-competitive, so get started right away.
