SENIOR EXPERIENCE: Seniors! This Friday is round one of the Senior Experience showcases. All Classic Seniors have been assigned a date except for those with CTE agreements. Check your email to confirm your date. We look forward to seeing the Friday presenters in the cafeteria at 2:40pm.
TENNIS: Girls Tennis conditioning meets every tuesday and thursday from 3:45 – 4:15 on the Football field if it’s not raining. If it’s wet outside meet in the weight room or see Mr. Rivera.
VOLLEYBALL: Today is the first round of intramural volleyball and it will be crazy. Come to the gym at lunch today to cheer on your peers because it will be insane!!! There will be much ballin’ present!
YOUTH TRADES ACADEMY: The 2023 Youth Trades Academy is accepting applications until March 7th. This seven-week program gives juniors and seniors an introduction to the skills necessary for an apprenticeship or employment in the sheet metal, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical trades. FORD SCHOLARS: College-bound seniors, if you are academically high achieving, can demonstrate a strong work ethic, have significant financial need, and plan to attend college in Oregon, apply for the Ford Scholars program. This local scholarship covers most of the cost of attendance at an Oregon 4-year college or community college. The application is due March 1st and is highly-competitive, so get started right away. GSA: GSA is having a merch fundraiser! Handprinted hoodies and t-shirts are now available for purchase on SchoolPay! 100% of proceeds will go to South’s GSA, supporting our high school’s Queer student body.
