RADIO CLUB: Calling all students interested in HAM radio! We’re meeting at lunchtime today and we are looking for more members. If you’re interested in science, electronics, communications, computers, geography, foreign language, or just want to explore something new, come join us!This week we’ll present just a bit of history about radio at South, and introduce you to Morse code. Hope to see you there! Today, room 415, at lunch.

LATINX: Attention everyone!  Latinx Student Union meets tomorrow in Chef Dunkin’s room in the 200 hall at lunch.  This week we are planning our part for the Martin Luther King Jr assembly with the other student unions. If you are interested in helping recognize and highlight Latinx culture, join us for pizza lunch in Chef Dunkin’s room tomorrow!  We hope to see you there!

NASU: NASU meets on today during lunch, in Room 306.

FUTURE LCC STUDENTS: Seniors headed to Lane Community College, be sure to apply to the Lane Foundation Scholarships, due Thursday, March 2nd. Lane has hundreds of thousands of dollars to give away to all types of students. You have to complete step one of your application to Lane in order to apply for the scholarships, so be sure to get started soon. For more information, look at the SEHS scholarship webpage, or see Lori Sauter in room 7.

BIPOC: Calling all students who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color). Our BIPOC student group is collecting stories of BIPOC Student experiences. If you are interested in sharing your story, please join us TODAY in the Small Gym during lunch. If you cannot attend and would like to share a story, please contact Señora Keech in room 25. Lunch will be provided.

CLIMATE JUSTICE: Are you passionate about climate justice? Apply now to be a regional leader with a paid internship at Our Future – Oregon’s Youth Leadership Network for Climate Action and Climate Justice. See Lori Sauter in the College and Career Center for more information.

WRESTLING: Congratulations to our AXE Women Wrestlers! Team Captain Clara Fausett placed third in Saturday’s District meet and Izel Tavallai is setting her sights on the open District Wrestling meet this coming Friday and Saturday in Grants Pass. We are so proud of you and your accomplishments – Go South!
