CLOTHING SWAP: EG-350 is having a clothing swap with Churchill on the 20th, from 3:30-5pm at 1376 Olive St, two blocks from Cornucopia. You can drop off your carefully curated clothes in the bins outside the auditorium, the office, or the cafeteria, this week – January 17th through 20th. You can also bring your clothes directly to the swap! Look for more information on our instagram @eg350South!

LSU: Attention everyone!  Latinx Student Union meets today and every Wednesday in Room 29 at lunch.  This week we are planning for the Martin Luther King Jr video presentation. If you are interested in helping recognize and highlight Latinx culture, join us for pizza lunch in Elle Sabala’s room today!  We hope to see you there!

GSA: GSA will meet this Friday during lunch in room 30 (Mrs. Dodd’s room in the main hallway). See you there!

JUNIOR PROJECT: Juniors, as you know, all 13 modules of the Junior Project have been published. If you have any questions about how to complete them, please drop by the career center in room 7, or email Lori Sauter for more information. If you’ve already finished your project, congratulations!

YOUTH TRADES ACADEMY: The 2023 Youth Trades Academy is accepting applications until March 7th. This seven-week program gives juniors and seniors an introduction to the skills necessary for an apprenticeship or employment in the sheet metal, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical trades. Apply soon to secure your spot. For more information, please drop by the career center in room 7, or email Lori Sauter.

SENIORS: Seniors! If you are Hispanic, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and are headed to a 4-year college or community college, you should apply for the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Scholarship. You’ll have to hurry, though. This scholarship is due by midnight this Sunday, January 22 and requires a letter of recommendation and essay. Contact Lori Sauter in the career center for more information.
