Scholarship opportunity: Seniors, if you identify as LGBTQ+ and plan to attend college full time, consider applying for the Point Foundation Scholarship, due December 21st. Award criteria include academic performance, leadership skills, financial need, and involvement in the LGBTQ+ community. Attention is given to students who have faced obstacles due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Drop by the career center in room 7 or email Lori Sauter for more information.

Jewish Student Union: Jewish Student Union is back! After many short weeks, join us this Friday at lunch in Asher Tubman’s room (room 415) for some Challah and fun. Come shmooze with the Jews! All are welcome.

GSA: GSA will meet this Friday during lunch in Mrs. Dodd’s room (room 30 in the main hallway). All are welcome. See you there!

Chess team: The Chess team meets every Thursday during lunch in Room 415, Asher Tubman’s class. We host tournaments and chess lessons weekly and will be competing in the state championship this year for the first time since lockdown. Come join us for a fun and competitive chess experience.

South Eugene Theater presents Miss Bennet Christmas at Pemberley, dinner theater! This delightful twist on Jane Austen’s original Pride and Prejudice Novel features the forgotten middle sister Mary and her quest to be heard and understood. Follow the Bennet family as they navigate Christmas as a family again. South Fork will be catering the dinner. The showdates are December 1,2,3 & 8,9,10.
