Food and Hygiene drive: Remember, our food drive goes through the end of this week. Bring canned/pre packaged food and hygiene products to the bins located at the auditorium doors, the main entrance, the gym, and the cafeteria. All donations go back to the South Community, and all donors will be entered into a raffle for a free ticket to Winter Formal, and Axepresso gift card, and more dope prizes!

College visit: A Southern Oregon University rep will be in the career center on Tuesday, November 15 at 2:25 to meet with interested students. Come on by!

Scholarship opportunity for juniors: This one goes out to South’s high-achieving juniors with significant financial need: The LEDA Scholarship Program is a mentorship program that helps juniors with leadership potential to gain admission to highly-selective colleges. The highlight of the program is a 5-week summer experience on the Princeton University campus. Drop by the career center in room 7 or email Lori Sauter for more information.

NASU: There will be a brief NASU meeting today at lunch in room 306.

NHS meeting: Due to the postponement of last week’s NHS meeting, we will meet on Tuesday, during lunch, in the small theater.

Concerts: Band, choir, and strings have their concerts this week. Band is tonight; choir and strings are on Thursday. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:00 concert.

Model UN: Model UN will meet today during lunch in room 541.  New members are welcome.

BIPOC Student Leaders: BIPOC Student Gathering NOW through lunch in the small gym. 

Intramural Badminton: Are you a master of the racket, champion of the net, hero of the birdie, or just want to have a solid, fun time? If so, Intramural Badminton is for you. The first round is Wednesday, 11/16 at lunch in the large gym. It’s doubles so sign up with a partner at tinyurl.com/SEHSintramural to show off your badminton skills.

Water Polo Congrats: Congratulations to the South Eugene girls water polo team who finished 3rd in state.  Boys water polo team also competed in state and finished 7th.  Go South
