BIPOC student leaders: Meeting in Keech’s room during lunch today.
School pictures: School photos packets have arrived! We will be handing them out in the hallway in front of the cafeteria during lunch. Seniors who purchased Senior gear from Miners can also pick up their orders at the school photo table.
Dia de los Muertos field trip: Latinx Student Union is excited for our field trip TODAY to Maude Kerns Art Center! If you’re coming with us on the field trip, please remember the following things:
- Bring your lunch or be ready to pick up the one you ordered (Elle Sabala will have the grab and go lunches in Room 29)
- Come to Elle Sabala’s Room #29 after Period 3 ends TODAY so we can all head out together!
Cross Country State: The cross country state meet is Saturday, November 5 at LCC, Girls race at 2:55 and Boys race at 3:30. Pull up to LCC, watch your inspiring schoolmates absolutely crush the competition. Show up and support your friends and classmates on the cross country team.
GSA: GSA is meeting today during lunch in room 706. All are welcome. See you there!
Speech and Debate: Students, South Eugene has a Speech and Debate Club! All students are welcome to join in. Regardless of skills level or experience, you are welcome and can come check out the opportunity at our next practice on Tuesday from 6pm-8pm in the South Library.
Scholarships: Seniors! If you are a high-achieving college-bound student with significant financial need, consider applying for the Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship. This scholarship is due on November 17, and you can apply using the CommonApp.
NHS meeting: National Honor Society’s monthly meeting is Tuesday the 8th during lunch. Please bring your Volunteer Logs for this trimester, if you have completed your hours.
Writing club: Writing Club meets today and every Friday at Lunch in Room 504!
Girls Tennis Meeting: Anyone interested in competing for South Eugene in Girls Tennis meet with Mr. Rivera in Room 4 at lunch Tuesday November 8th
