Town Hall Meeting Primary Reps: Our first full Town Hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, which is different than the date originally announced. It will take place in the Little Theater during all of 2nd period. Only the Primary representative is invited to this meeting; if the Primary rep cannot make it, please let Rhiannon Boettcher or Bobbie Willis know so they can inform the alternative, or you may inform the alt yourself.
BIPOC students: Our next gathering will be on Tuesday, 11/15 during periods 3 and lunch. You MUST RSVP by 3:00 on Monday, 10/31 if you plan to attend. Lunch can be ordered from the cafeteria for you on the Google Form. Please see your email for the form to RSVP. Any questions see Señora Keech in room 25.
Writing club: Writing Club meets today and every Friday in Room 504 during lunch. Today we will be prepping for National Novel Writing Month, which begins on Tuesday!
Dia de los Muertos: Attention everyone! Latinx Student Union wants to invite YOU to celebrate Día de los muertos, or “Day of the dead,” with a field trip to Maude Kerns Art Center on Friday, November 4. Stop by Room 29 to pick up a permission slip, but hurry- permission slips are due TODAY, Friday October 28, at 2:30 pm in Room 29.
Costume Contest: Hey South, do you love Halloween? If so, get your costume ready because our costume contest is next week! Monday is Halloween and stugov will be hosting a fun costume contest in the back of the cafeteria during lunch. Wear your best costume and show it off to win one of our fabulous prizes! Scan one of the QR codes around the school to enter the contest.
Please make sure your costume avoids violent images or weapons, stereotypes, masks, profanity, or drug and alcohol references.
Soccer playoffs ticket info: The South Eugene Soccer Club will be providing free tickets to soccer playoff games to South Eugene Students. For Home games, show your student ID at the Gate. Free student tickets to away games can be ordered on the SOUTH EUGENE SOCCER CLUB WEBSITE, or by contacting the South Eugene Soccer Club at southeugenesoccerclub@gmail.com.
Staff, your tickets will be $10. Only OSAA passes are accepted at playoff games.
