BSU: Come join the BSU in room 204 for lunch on Wednesdays.

LSU: Attention students and staff!  Latinx Student Union is currently planning our Día de los muertos celebrations.  We invite you to help us plan and celebrate Día de los muertos, or “Day of the Dead” with sugar skull decorating at lunch in Room 29 on Wednesday, November 2, and/or our field trip to Maude Kerns Art Center on Friday, November 4.  Stop by Room 29 today at lunch for more information.  We hope to see you there!

Town Hall Meeting Primary Reps: Our first full Town Hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, which is different than the date originally announced.  It will take place in the Little Theater during all of 2nd period.  Only the Primary representative is invited to this meeting; if the Primary rep cannot make it, please let Rhiannon Boettcher or Bobbie Willis know so they can inform the alternative, or you may inform the alt yourself.

AP Exam fees due: For all of those wanting to take an AP exam this May the AP Exam Fee Window is Now Open. Please go to the AP Website for the SchoolPay link which can be found under the Academics Tab on the SESH website.  This needs to be done by November 11th or an exam will not be ordered for you.

Scholarship Spotlight: Students applying for the Stamps Leadership Scholarship at the University of Oregon must apply to the school by November first. Once their application is submitted, they’ll be given access to the scholarship application, which is due November 15th. This scholarship targets high-achieving students and gives the winners a full ride to the UO. Check out the scholarships page on South’s website for more scholarship info.

College visits:  It’s another big week in the world of college visits. Today, come to the career center to meet reps from UC-San Diego and Lewis & Clark (a virtual visit). Thursday’s visits include Willamette and Linfield. See you there!

Intramural Soccer: Intramural soccer is tomorrow at lunch. Pull up to the turf for massive action, massive drama, and massive goals. The Tallyman is playing Stugov, and Coach Helen’s Cool People are playing the Big Dawgs. Come and have a good time!

Students, the Library will be closed on Thursday all day for a No Place for Hate training. The cafeteria will be open on Thursday as a quiet study space for students with a free period. Students, if you are planning to attend the No Place for Hate training this Thursday, make sure you complete the googleform sign-up you received in your email from Friday, October 21.
