Financial Aid Night: This announcement is for all college-bound juniors and seniors, including students considering community college and vocational schools: This Thursday, October 20, South is hosting a financial aid night in the form of a Zoom webinar. Log in at 7 pm on Thursday using the link you and your parents will be emailed shortly before the event. You’ll hear information about the FAFSA, the ORSAA, and other financial-aid topics. Please see Lori Sauter in room 7 if you have questions.

College visits: College visit season is in full swing, so listen closely! Come hear presentations by Pacific University and Gonzaga today. Thursday, Scripps has a virtual visit, and Wentworth Institute of Technology follows. Days and times can be found on the board outside the career center or in the email that’s sent to juniors and seniors on Mondays.

LSU: Attention students and staff!  Latinx Student Union is currently planning our Día de los muertos, or “Day of the dead,” celebrations.  We invite you to help us plan and celebrate Día de los muertos with sugar skull decorating in Room 29 on Wednesday, November 2 at lunch, and/or our field trip to Maude Kerns Art Center on Friday, November 4 to see altars created by our community.  Stop by Room 29 today at lunch for more information.  We hope to see you there!

Art Club: Interested in hanging out with creative people and making Art? Then Art Club is the place for you. It’s every Friday during lunch in Room 521! 

AP Exams: For all of those wanting to take an AP exam this May the AP Exam Fee Window is Now Open. Please go to the AP Website for the SchoolPay link which can be found under the Academics Tab on the SESH website.  This needs to be done by November 11th.
