Juniors: Juniors this is the final week to sign up for the PSAT on Wednesday, October 12th. Please refer to the Canvas messages with the sign up link or stop by the counseling office. 10th graders and test taking juniors grab a student study guide in the counseling office, main office or college and career center. Remember to bring a calculator and #2 pencils on test day.
College visits: We’ve got 2 college visits in the college and career center left this week. Bushnell will be there on Wednesday, October 5th at 12:50, and George Fox will arrive on October 6th at 2:25.
College Fair: Considering a 4-year college after high school? Not sure which one? There will be a college fair on Friday, October 7 at the U of O’s Mac Court from 9-11:30. Drop in to visit with reps from colleges all around the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Students may set up a StriveScan account to share contact information with the colleges they are interested in. See Lori Sauter in the career center for more information.
Mental Health Supports: Students and staff, Eugene School District 4J is partnering with the JED Foundation to plan for sustainable mental health supports within schools. There are some opportunities for students, staff, and parents to drop in to provide input to a member of the JED Foundation during one of the following time slots this week.

Friday Night Lights: Rivalry week is here! Help us beat North at this Friday’s football game! Eugene High School was established one hundred and twenty two years ago; housed in two different buildings before our School was completed in 1953. North was then constructed in 1957, making Eugene High become South Eugene High. This rivalry has been active for many years, let’s revive it with win – 7:00 Friday their place.
LSU: Attention everyone! Latinx Student Union meets today and every Wednesday in Room 29 at lunch. This month we are planning for our Day of the Dead / Día de los muertos celebration happening on November 2nd. If you’d like to be part of the planning, please bring your lunch to Elle Sabala’s room! We hope to see you there!
Lunch: For lunch today we will have chicken tenders, veggie tenders, 4j’s Famous Bowl with chicken or vegetarian, or grab n go meals.
Students bring your Student ID with you when you get breakfast or lunch. You can now scan your card at the computer or you can still type in your number. It is faster if you have your card ready when you get to the computer.
