Feminist Union: Today’s empowering woman is Thelma Paine, the first Oregon woman to compete in the Olympics. Payne was a diver, and competed in the 1920 Olympic Games as well as other competitions. She spoke up and brought attention to the inequality in the way the male and female athletes were treated during these competitions. She was also inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame.

South Kitchen: Fill up for finals week with yummy chicken or tofu parmesan over pasta with marinara. Our featured grab and go will be taco salad. And don’t miss refreshing galia melons at the salad bar.
