Feminist Union: Do you believe in equity for all? Feminist Union is meeting today during lunch in room 409, come join!

 

Look me in the eye: Every Wednesday, in the back of the cafeteria, we meet for fun, games, and other projects! This club is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to meet people of all abilities here at south!

 

Philosophy Club: Philosophy club will be meeting today in room 534, with Suzy McLauchlin at lunch. Philosophy meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

 

Figure of Speech Writing Club: Interested in creative writing? Want help with college essay? Curious about National Novel Writing Month? Come on down to Figure of Speech Writing Club! Fridays at lunch in room 504.

 

Career Center: Montana State University will host a pizza party at Coburg Pizza Company in Springfield, tomorrow at 6pm.

 

Juniors and Seniors, come to Financial Aid Night tomorrow for an overview of the college financial aid process. It takes place in the Cafeteria beginning at 7 and will be very useful.

 

There are two scholarships available in the Career Center with October deadlines.  The Horatio Alger Scholarship offers $10,000 to Oregon students and is due October 25th.  All 15 to 18 year olds students interested in studying abroad can apply for the National Security Language Initiative Scholarship.  Most costs are covered and offers language classes. Apply for this scholarship by October 30th.

 

Today, the United States Army will be in the Career Center and tomorrow, Colorado College will be in the Career Center. Be sure to stop by the Career Center or visit the South website for all details regarding visits, scholarship and other vital information.

 

Math Club: Math Club meets today at lunch in room 710.

 

Sketch Club: Want to laugh? Want to smile? Have nothing to do? Come to sketch club every Tuesday and Wednesday in the Choir Room at lunch to do improv comedy! Participate or watch others be ridiculous for a good laugh.

 

Red cross: Need volunteer hours? Want to stand out on your college applications? Join the Red Cross Club today during lunch in room 105. We will be talking about upcoming volunteer opportunities, including the First Aid service team at the Autzen football games!    

 

Steps Toward Change:  There will be a 9th grade peer mentor information lunch tomorrow  in the Positive Change Courtyard (or room 305 if the weather is bad). Pizza will be served!
