Young Democrats Union: 4J school board elections are coming up. Drop by room 410 Fridays at lunch to get involved and make positive change.
Feminist Union: Today’s empowering woman for your Women’s History Month Announcements is Marie Curie, a Polish scientist of the late 19th and early 20th century. After moving to Paris, she obtained a doctor of science degree and worked extensively in the field of radioactivity. In collaboration with her husband, Curie became the first woman to receive a Nobel Prize. In addition to her Nobel Prize of Physics, she also was awarded a Nobel Prize of Chemistry for her work in radioactivity. Curie is one example of the huge impact women have had on science throughout history.
South Eugene Music: The best singers at South team up with the hilariously interactive comedy of our Sketch Club to bring you a night of entertainment you won’t soon forget! This Saturday the local Vocal Throwdown is at 7:00pm in the Little Theater. $7 for students and $10 for adults at the door.
Yearbook: Attention Seniors! You have one week to vote yearbook senior superlatives for the class of 2019. Please check your email and click the link provided to fill out the survey or add who you want for this years choices! South Eugene Life skills: Are you interested in helping others and taking a unique elective? Consider peer tutoring! If you would like to help out in life skills one period a day talk with your counselor. Peer tutoring is also great work experience and can lead to a job after high school. It also looks great on college applications and the help is needed.
All Students: Please check your 4j email for the list of books that you have out. All textbooks & classroom novels not be used in the 3rd trimester are due March 2lst by 4:00 PM. Books not returned will receive a $5.00 late fee. If you have questions, please see Connie in Room 19.
