MATH CLUB
Love math? Like to solve interesting problems? Come to math club, every Tuesday at lunch in Room 726. Join us and learn something new!

COLLEGE VISIT
A rep from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan will visit the college and career center today at 10:10. Come by and hear about this interesting school!

TRACK
South Eugene Track and Field is having an informational meeting this Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the cafeteria. This is an opportunity to learn about the team and training opportunities. 

GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL
Are you interested in playing girls flag football this spring? If so, there is an informational meeting this Thursday in room 408 during lunch.

GIRLS LACROSSE
Girls lacrosse preseason started yesterday. Practices will take place 3 days a week, Tuesday and Friday at 3:45 and Wednesdays at 2:45 on the SEHS turf. No experience necessary, see you there!

WINTER FORMAL
Winter Formal is this Friday! The dance is being held at the UO Ford Alumni Center and promises to be memorable. Tickets to the event, being held on Friday, January 12th, are now available on School Pay. A limited number of guest forms are available in the front office.

BIPOC NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
Calling all BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color) students. Come join us in room 28 during period 4 and lunch on Wednesday, 1/10 to celebrate the New Year. We will be participating in a tradition celebrated in many Hispanic cultures to bring good luck to us in the new year. We will also be creating individual New Year resolutions “through” art.

BASKETBALL
Show up and show out tonight for our boys basketball team who play their final preseason game tonight against McNary at 6:45, wear your favorite beach attire. Your girls team plays away at McNary.

BLOOD DRIVE
Attention all staff and students that are 16 years and older! South Eugene’s Red Cross club is hosting their first ever at-school blood drive on Friday, January 19th, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm in the small gym. If you are interested, please come to the main office to pick up the necessary informational flyers. If you are 16 or an athlete, you must pick up the approval forms including important information before you can register! 

EG350 CLOTHING SWAP
“Want to keep your clothes out of the landfill? Promote sustainable consumerism? And thrift something for free? Then come to the Clothing Swap for the Climate, hosted by EG350 and the 4j Climate Justice team! The swap will take place on Friday, January 19th, from 4:30-6:30pm, at the First United Methodist Church on Olive street. Drop off your old clothes in the bins by the front office or bring them directly to the swap! Hope to see you there for thrifting, tea and fun!”
