Test room assignments will be posted outside the counseling office.  Please bring a #2 pencil and calculator and see Michael Leahy in counseling with questions about the PreACT.

Today, we have two college visits. The Scripps College visit is taking place now, at 10:10 in the College and Career Center. Then at 10:55, the University of California-Santa Barbara will hold a virtual visit. You’re welcome to attend that in the College and Career Center, as well. Tomorrow, a rep from Emerson College will visit at 10:25, and Reed College will be here at 12:45. Come learn about your college options!

College and Career Readiness Day is coming up this Thursday, October 12th. School will start at 8:30 and end at noon when lunch will be served. Students will NOT go to regular classes that day. Ninth graders will spend the morning in workshops and activities. Sophomores will take the Pre-ACT. Juniors who registered will be taking the PSAT, while all seniors and non-testing juniors participate in college and career webinars and activities. All students’ room assignments will be posted around the school, including outside the counseling center, and can also be found under the Schedule tab in StudentVue on Thursday. All students except sophomores will need their charged laptops. Seniors and non-testing juniors should bring earphones, as well.

Attention Juniors who have pre-registered for the PSAT, please check your Canvas and 4j email with instructions to download the Blue Book app. Downloading your Blue Book is required prior to your PSAT test on Thursday. The PSAT will take place on Thursday from 8:30-noon. Michael Leahy is available in the counseling center with questions prior to the PSAT test.
