Counselors explain the college admissions process with this SEHS College Admissions Process Video.
1st Step: On StudentVue please review your course history and schedule to make sure there are no mistakes and that you’re scheduled for everything you need for graduation and your post high school plans. If you think you are in need of an additional course this year please contact your counselor. If you see something missing or an error on your transcript please contact our registrar, Melinda Shull at email@example.com.
2nd Step: Have a Senior Interview or refer to the Senior Year Support Newsletter to learn about the tools we will use to assist you in this process. You will learn about the College Materials Request form and things like scholarships, college presentations and the FAFSA.
3rd Step: Complete the multi-step process found on the SEHS College Material Request Form (CMRF), to document what you need from your counselor and to learn how to request a teacher recommendation and transcript. The counselors will refer to the College Material Request Form and Transcript Request entries to learn about your college application needs and deadlines. Please do your best to submit this form at least two weeks prior to your first deadline.
4th Step: It’s Scholarship Time! Check out the scholarship opportunities listed on the Senior Year Support Newsletter again. If you need something from your counselor for the scholarship application please complete this Scholarship Material Request Form and alert your counselor by your e-mail of the need.
