Announcements for April 24

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MONDAY APRIL 24 _________________________________________________________________

BIPOC: We will be gathering TOMORROW during lunch in the Positive Changes Courtyard if it’s sunny, or room 25 if it’s rainy. Please check your school email to RSVP and put in your lunch order. Bring your computer with you.

COLLEGE CHOICE: Seniors, are you having trouble choosing a college? Want to talk to a South grad who is attending one of your colleges of interest? See Lori Sauter in room 7 for more information.

RADIO: Curious about radio yet?  Come by room 415 during lunch on this Tuesday, April 25th.  We’ll talk radio and start to plan a weekend event for May 6.  See you there!

PROM: JUNIORS & SENIORS! Prom tickets are for sale until this Wednesday at 4:00pm. In other words, you only have TWO DAYS LEFT to buy prom tickets. Head over to South Eugene’s school pay website to purchase prom tickets. They are $35 without ASB and $30 with. If the price is a burden for you, please contact assistant principal Ricci Huling.

If you want to invite a guest from another school, you should have already picked up a guest request form in the main office. You only have two days left to have them filled out by your guest, their adult, and their school administrators. These must be completed and returned to the South office by 4:00pm Wednesday, no exceptions.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: On Tuesday, April 25th, Positive Community Kitchen will hold its annual spring fundraiser, called “After School Snacks! Secret Ingredient Cook Off.” They need high school volunteers to help with the event. Sign up by visiting Lori Sauter in room 7 or finding details in the e-newsletter for Friday, April 21st. PCK is hoping to raise $10,000 to continue to serve nutrient-dense meals to people while they are experiencing a health crisis.

SENIORS: If you would like to perform or give a speech at graduation, see Eric in the main office to sign up for auditions by the end of the day tomorrow.
