ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TUESDAY MARCH 21 _________________________________________________________________

RADIO CLUB: Attention radio enthusiasts! This week SEHS radio club will be joined by two awesome women ham radio operators who have had significant impacts on both local and faraway ham radio communities through on-air operations and dedication to serving the public. Come hear about their experience, and what you can do with radio!  The next South Eugene Radio Club meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday at lunch, room 415.

NASU: Attention Native American Student Union members:  The next NASU meeting is TODAY, during lunch in Room 306.

SPIRIT SHOWDOWN: Today is red light green light! Come to the main gym during lunch to participate! The winner will get 100 points, second place gets 60 points, and third 40 points. The class with the most points will be awarded a prize during the pep rally on Friday! Also, continue to donate to the coin drive in the main hall!

OSU CASCADES: Seniors! If you were admitted to Oregon State University-Cascades, you definitely want to come to the career center in room 7 at lunch today to hear about your next steps from the OSU-Cascades rep. See you soon!

NHS: Applications are available for next year’s National Honor Society. Criteria include a GPA of 3.6 or higher, strong leadership skills, and a strong sense of community service. Applications are available in the College and Career Center (Room 7) and the front office. There is an absolute deadline of Friday, April 14. 

LETTER WRITING: Do you like creating art or letter writing? Get volunteer hours during lunch by joining the Letters For Rose club! Letters For Rose meets during lunch today and every Tuesday in room 408.

ELECTRONICS: Do you have any old, out of use electronics that you don’t know what to do with? Well, today is your lucky day! Bring in any old or broken electronics this week to the barrels at the front of the 100 hall to donate to the electronics recycling drive, in partnership with next step recycling.

MODEL UN: Model UN meets today at lunch in room 541!

GET PAID: Calling all juniors and seniors! The application window for Connected Lane County’s PAID summer internship program is open from now through March 30th. You’ll work full time for 5-7 weeks with a mentor in the career field of your choice. Limited spots are available, so complete your application carefully, and don’t start your application at the last minute. A letter of recommendation and interview are part of the process. Look at the full-page spread in last week’s e-news, or see Lori Sauter in room 7 for more information.

SPRING FEST: It is time to sign up for Spring Fest! Our annual Spring Fest will be held on April 18th during lunch in the science courtyard. Clubs, affinity groups, student unions and many sports are invited and should have received an email invitation with a sign up document. If your president or advisor did not receive it, contact Student Government and we’ll get the info to you.  Please sign up before the deadline of April 7th and fill out all of the information on the sheet otherwise your group cannot be at Spring Fest!
