Announcements for November 29th

BIPOC students: Please check your email about our next BIPOC Student Gathering on Tuesday, Dec 6. Pizza will be provided as we start trimester 2, and prepare for Winter Break. RSVP before the end of school on Wednesday, Nov 30.

Scholarship opportunity: Seniors, if you’re interested in joining the military AND going to college, consider applying for an ROTC Scholarship. It covers most of the cost of college in exchange for 4 to 5 years of active military duty after college. The Marine ROTC Scholarship is due December 18, and the Navy ROTC scholarship is due in January. Drop by the career center in room 7 or email Lori Sauter for more information.

GSA meeting: GSA will meet this Wednesday in Mrs. Dodd’s room (room 30). All are welcome. See you there!

Track info meeting: Any student interested in joining the track & field team for the spring season should attend the informational meeting held on Monday, December 5th at 6pm in the high school cafeteria.  Parents are also invited to attend.  Preseason training and what to expect for the upcoming season will be discussed.  Guidance on how to get registered will be provided.  If you can not attend then please add your name and contact information to the sign up sheet that will be posted on the track office window next to the wrestling room near the gym entrance.

Theater: South Eugene Theater presents Miss Bennet Christmas at Pemberley, dinner theater! This delightful twist on Jane Austen’s original Pride and Prejudice Novel features the forgotten middle sister Mary and her quest to be heard and understood. Follow the Bennet family as they navigate Christmas as a family again. South Fork will be catering the dinner. The show dates are December 1, 2, 3 & 8, 9, 10.
