Announcements for September 22nd

Book Club: Are you interested in reading and want a space to discuss literature in a group setting? We would love for you to join book club! Our first meeting is on Friday the 23rd in the library at lunch. We hope to see you there!

Robotics: South Eugene Robotics is back! You can work on everything from building and wiring big robots, to programming, video editing, graphic design, and data analysis. ALL are welcome, no prior experience expected. Meet us in the Foundry, the room across from the IHS office, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm.

Writing Club: Writing Club is having our first meeting of the year this Friday during Lunch in Room 504! Writing Club is a space for student writers to gather, talk about writing, and participate in writing activities. Everyone is welcome at any meeting, every Friday at Lunch in Room 504.

Seniors! It’s time for a chat with your counselor about post high school plans, including the college application process. Please schedule your Senior Interview using the QR code located in counseling or by going to the Counseling Department page on the SEHS website.

College and Career Readiness Day: Wednesday October 12th is College and Career Readiness Day. On that day all 10th graders will be taking the PSAT starting at 8:30am. Juniors need to opt in to register to test and have been invited to sign up via a Canvas message. Stop by the counseling center to pick up PSAT study guides and if you have any questions. Test takers remember to bring your own #2 pencils and a calculator. Test locations will be posted the week of the PSAT.

Attention 9th Graders: Did you receive your “Class of 2026” t-shirt? If not, please stop by the counseling center to pick yours up anytime this week.
