College and Career Center: 9th thru 11th graders interested in a health-care career: Sign up for MedSplash, a 2-week summer program at LCC for exploring this career path. For more information, see last Friday’s e-news or visit Lori Sauter in the career center.

 

Boys Lacrosse:  The South Eugene Boys Lacrosse Team will be playing West Salem at Home this evening!  Game Time 6 pm.  Come to the game to support the Team!  Go Axe!

 

Theatre:  South Eugene Theater’s outrageous comedy THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND opens this Friday, April 22 on the South Eugene Mainstage. Don’t miss this hilarious send up of old time murder mysteries with a strange, mind-boggling twist.
Performances are the next two Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 with Sunday matinees at 2:00. Tickets are available on-line at www.SouthEugeneTheater.org

BIPOC:  Attention BIPOC and Affinity Group students:

Next week Wednesday, April 27, South is hosting a workshop during periods 3, 4 and 5 for BIPOC and Affinity Group students.  The workshop, with retired educator Jim Garcia, intends to “build capacity for students to participate in transformational ways towards diversity & equity initiatives.” During the workshop on Wednesday, April 27 students will be excused from periods 3, 4 and 5, and will be provided lunch as well.  If you are interested, scan the QR code from the posters in the Main Hall, or see Elle Sabala in Room 29.  We hope to see you there!

Green Week:  This week is Green Week!  Today is Transportation Tuesday.  Hope you came to school in an eco-friendly way.  Tomorrow is Waste Wednesday.  There will be metal straws to purchase in the main hall.  Volunteer opportunity after school for litter pick up.  Meet at the flag post if you are interested.
