Tech Distribution Sept. 17-19

Due to the ongoing air quality issues, laptop distribution at South has been changed to the following dates and times. Distribution will take place outside the Auditorium Lobby by South’s east parking lot along Patterson.
• Thursday, September 17, 3 – 7 p.m. (delayed due to air quality) The district will continue to monitor air conditions and will announce by 2:15 p.m. if any further delay or cancellation is needed.

• Friday, September 18, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Saturday, September 19, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The hazardous air quality from wildfire smoke is continuing to affect health and safety in our area and delay our ability to distribute student technology safely.

Schools will hold device pickup on Thursday and Friday with extended hours into the evening, to provide accessible times for families to pick up their student’s iPad or laptop before Rosh Hashanah begins at sunset on Friday. Pickup hours also will be offered on Saturday.

Technology pickup at all schools will be held at the above listed times, if air quality allows. The district will monitor the smoke levels and announce any cancelation or delay by noon on Thursday.

Please wear a face covering and follow physical distancing and other protocols when you pick up your student’s device. If your student is enrolled to attend the Eugene Online Academy, please pick up their learning device at your regular brick-and-mortar school (the school they would normally be attending).
