LTD Student Transit Pass: If you have not signed-up for the new LTD transit pass and wish to do so, come to the gym lobby TODAY from 2-4pm to sign up!


Career Center:Attention Seniors looking for scholarships! More local scholarships are on the horizon! Local money is easier to win than national scholarships. The Harrington Scholarship awards four renewable awards of $4,000, totaling $16,000, to Oregon seniors with financial need planning to attend an Oregon school. It considers community involvement over academic or athletic achievements. Apply by 3/6.


And the Masonic Lodge is offering a $3,000 award to a SEHS student involved in the community and planning to attend an Oregon school. Ideal GPA is between 3.0 and 3.5. Apply by 3/11. Be sure to check out the South website for more on these and other local scholarships. 


Rustic Pathways will be in the College & Career Center to discuss gap year possibilities on Monday, 3/9 at 12:19pm.


NHS: National Honors Society application packets will be available March 4th, in the College and Career Center. If you are a sophomore or junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher, and exhibit qualities in scholarship, character, leadership, and service, swing by the Career Center and pick up a packet. The deadline for submission is April 2nd.


Feminist Union: Today’s empowering women is Melissa Lowery. Lowery is a woman of color who grew up in a predominantly white suburb in West Linn. She was a Filmmaker and took part in a documentary called Black Girl in Suburbia. Her film was played at the International Black Women’s Film Festival and St. Louis International Film Festival.
