Musical Auditions for Graduation: Seniors! Interested in performing at graduation this year? If so, come sign-up at the main office next week, Tuesday February 18th.
Career Center: Any South students who are interested in a career in criminal justice should consider attending Criminal Justice Careers Day at Western Oregon University on March 4. The program includes a career opportunities panel, a criminal justice career fair, and campus tours. Seniors who bring a complete admissions application to the program can find out, at the end of the program, whether they were accepted to the school. Come to the career center for more information.
Student Government: If you haven’t submitted your senior sweatshirt or school merch design, turn them in by the end of the day today! Voting for the best design will start soon!
Today for Black History Month we would like to feature Maya Angelou who was an American poet, singer, memorist, and civil rights activist. “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you”- Maya Angelou.
Economic Justice League: The food pantry, stationed next to Axepresso in the lunchroom, will be open before school from 8:00 to 8:30. Come on in and grab some free snacks or breakfast, all students are welcome!
South Eugene Theater: House and Garden return for two more performances this weekend, tonight and Saturday. Shows start at 7:00pm and tickets are available at the door and at south eugene theater.org. Don’t miss them, they’re hysterical!

Forecasting: Students, remember to review instructions for forecasting for next year’s classes. Today students will finalize their course requests in StudentVUE during advisory and turn in their hardcopy forecasting form. Bring your forecasting materials to advisory today!
