Career Center: If you are a sophomore interested in the STEM fields, keep listening! Applications are now being accepted for the Western Aerospace Scholars Program. This free program includes a two-month online course and a three-day summer program. It’s a great chance to explore the science behind outer space and space travel. Applications are due on Valentine’s Day. Come to the career center, or look in the school’s e-newsletter to learn more.

Look Me in the Eye: Look Me in the Eye is a club for everyone. We meet every Wednesday in the back of the cafeteria for art, games, and other fun activities! Since we work in collaboration with South’s Life Skills program, this club is a great opportunity to meet people of all different abilities here at south! Look Me in the Eye is about inclusivity, and all are welcome. See you at lunch!
Student Government: If you are a senior, pick up a template to design the class of 2020 senior sweatshirts. And if you’re not a senior you can still enter! There will also be new school-wide merch that you can submit a design for. Submit your design by February 14th.

South Eugene Theater: House and Garden are two romantic farce comedies that are performed simultaneously in two theaters by a single cast of actors. Yes, you heard that right. Athletic Department: Spring Sports Information Night will be tonight at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. All students interested in participating in Track, Baseball, Softball, Tennis and Golf are invited to attend with their parents
Social Justice Leadership Class: The social leadership class is making a pop-up art installation that includes a collage. There will be a suggestion box in the library where you can contribute. They want to know what causes, movements or well-known activists inspire you. Your suggestions will be included in the project.
