Career Center: Hey Seniors! OSAC is taking applications. One application for over 600 scholarships! No minimum GPA or financial need requirement. Apply by the early bird deadline of 2/18 to be entered in a drawing for $1,000. Drop by the Career Center for more information or check out South’s website under “Scholarships”.


Counseling Office: College bound Seniors: If you are applying to colleges with January 1st-15th deadlines, your Counselor Recommendation Packet, transcript requests and money need to be turned into counseling by December 6th. If you have questions, please see Melinda in the Counseling Office.


Student Government: The last day of the food drive is tomorrow! There is still time to bring in more food that will go directly to helping the South community! Donate your food to help your favorite department win!


Look Me in the Eye: Look Me in the Eye is about inclusivity, and all are welcome. We meet Wednesday in the back of the cafeteria for art, games, and other fun activities! Since we work in collaboration with South’s Life Skills program, this club is a great opportunity to meet people of all different abilities here a South! See you at lunch.


OBOB- Oregon Battle Of the Books: If you’re interested in joining Oregon Battle of the Books then go to room 305 today during lunch. There will be books, fun, and food.


Steps Toward Change: Steps Towards Change will host the first 9th grade Mentor Event tomorrow during lunch in the Amazon room. We will have snacks and games. Look for your invitation.


South Kitchen: Today is our special entree of buffalo baked chicken or tempeh with a reality kitchen pretzel twist along with carrot and celery sticks. And tomorrow, the delicious philly beef sandwich with crinkle cut fries!
