Next phase community conversations: Help shape the spending plan
After decades of disinvestment, new funding is coming to Oregon K–12 schools! Eugene School District 4J wants to hear your thoughts about how to spend these funds, in order to best support student success in the areas of greatest need.
Oregon’s Student Success Act is expected to provide 4J about $12–13 million per year starting with the 2020–21 school year. This is about a 5% increase in the district’s general fund budget.
Our district must develop a plan for how to invest these additional funds to best support student success, particularly for students who experience academic disparities in our schools, and we need your input. Please join in the conversation.
In September, we asked for your thoughts about what is working well and what you’d like to see improved in schools. Now, in the second phase, we want to hear your feedback about potential investments to support student success.Community Conversations: Investments for Student Success
