Career Center: Calling all juniors! You may now begin your Junior Project in the Career Center if you haven’t already. This is a great chance to think about life after high school, and is a graduation requirement. The Career Center is open all school days except Wednesday afternoons, and it’s open after school every Tuesday and Friday. Reserve your spot today!


Seniors! Got college and scholarship essays dragging you down? Bring your essay to the career center for some help with proofreading. We’re happy to give you ideas and suggestions for improvement!


The UO Stamps Leadership Scholarship offers a full-ride scholarship to UO for 4 years. Apply for admission to UO by 11/1 and for Stamps by 11/15. 


The Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarships award $1,250 and $750 to Eugene area students with financial need and strong academic and leadership backgrounds. Apply by 11/5.

Latinx Student Union: Buenos Días South Eugene High School! Latinx Student Union wants to invite you to our Día de los muertos celebration at lunch in room 29 this Friday. We will provide lunch and sugar skulls for decorating. Come join us in remembering our dearly departed.


Student Government: 

Freshman running for Student Government your applications are due today! There will be a mandatory meeting at lunch in room 718 tomorrow.


Are you 16 or older and want to save up to 3 lives? Then you should participate in the blood drive tomorrow in the small gym. Pick up a permission slip from the office or posters around the school.


Book Club: Join us in room 305 today during lunch for book club 


Steps Toward Change: Interested in Social Justice, art, mentoring, or meeting new people? If so, we will be meeting Friday during lunch in the Amazon Room at the back of the cafeteria, come join!


South Eugene Theater: The fall musical “Bright Star” is finally here. The show opens Friday at 7:00 in the auditorium. Bright Star, a new musical by comedian Steve Martin and Singer Songwriter Edie Brickall, opened on Broadway in 2016 and tells the uplifting and heartwarming sort of true story of the Iron- Horse Child.


South Kitchen: It’s a special halloween lunch at the cafeteria today featuring boo-rific mummy dogs! Delicious all beef hot dogs wrapped in yummy baked dough, or any of your usual favorites!
