Career Center: Seniors with unfinished Junior projects, NOW IS THE TIME! Come to the Career Center to finish them up, this is also a graduation requirement!


Whitman College will be in the Career Center this morning at 9:47. On Tuesday Western Oregon University will be here and on Wednesday Gonzaga University.


The local VFW is offering a Voice of Democracy essay contest open to all grades on the topic, “What Makes America Great.” Local winners may advance to state and national competitions for more prize money, up to $30,000. Submit essay and 3- to 5- minute recording of your essay by 10/31. 


The UO Stamps Leadership Scholarship offers a full-ride scholarship to UO for 4 years. It requires a minimum 3.85 GPA and 1300 SAT or 28 ACT. Apply for admission to UO by 11/1 and for Stamps by 11/15.

Feminist Union: Do you believe in equity for all? Feminist Union is meeting today during lunch in room 409, come join!


South Kitchen: Come to the cafeteria to check out today’s special of Yakisoba noodles with teriyaki chicken or tofu. You will love the teriyaki sauce made from scratch in our new kitchen.


Philosophy Club: We will be meeting today in room 534 during lunch for Philosophy Monday. Come to the IHS hall with your concept ready!


Students: Picture retakes are happening right now in the gym foyer until 11:00. You can pick up a picture purchase packet in the front office. 


Part-Time Job Opportunity: A local retirement community is hiring servers for dinner. There are late afternoon shifts and it pays minimum wage. Applicants must be 16 years or older, see Kathy Ruggles in room 302 for details.
