Career Center:  

-Attention Seniors heading to an Oregon Community College!  Be sure to apply for the Oregon Promise Grant which offers near-free tuition to qualifying students with a minimum 2.5 GPA.  Apply by June 1st.

-The Career Center will close this school year on Tuesday, June 11th.  Please be sure all of your Career Center business is taken care of before then.

 

Counseling Office:  College bound Seniors:  It’s time to turn in your final transcript requests.  Forms are available in the Counseling Office and will cost $2.00 per transcript.  Please turn in the form and money to Melinda in Counseling prior to June 5th.

 

Cap and Gown:  Congratulations class of 2019!  It is time to pick up your cap and gown!  All fees and fines must be paid before picking up your cap and gown.  First, pick up your check-off card in the AV room. Second, get your card stamped by all departments.  Third, pick up the cap and gown on Thursday and Friday, May 30th and 31st, between 11:00 and 1:00.

 

Baseball Team:  We would like to congratulate 2016 graduate, Sam Menegat and the University of Illinois-Chicago baseball program on making it to the NCAA Division 1 College World Series.  The Flames will head to Louisville, Kentucky where they will face off against the #7 seed in the country, the University of Louisville Cardinals. Good Luck Sam!

 

NHS:  Today’s meeting is still mandatory but will be shortened so students can attend Spring Fest.  Senior logs are due at this meeting and cords will be available to pick up from Peter Tuesday and Wednesday, June 4th and 5th.

 

Economic Justice League:  The clothing closet is open!  We just got a big donation from Buffalo Exchange with a bunch of new summer clothes.  Bring friends to get new clothes and accessories! Come after school today!

 

ASU:  Asian Student Union is celebrating Asian Pacific American History Month with a potluck.  Come to room 720 on Friday during lunch for free food and a chance to win a bubble tea gift card!

Book Club:  Join us during lunch in room 305 to watch the Life of Pi.
