-Hey Seniors! The Larry Sharpf Scholarship is a new local scholarship offering up to $20,000 a year to 8-12 students living in Benton, Lane, Linn or marion counties. Household income must be below $50,000. Stop by the Career Center or check out the South Website for more information!
-Seniors: Are you planning to attend LCC this fall? South is offering the placement test this Friday, April 19th, at 2:45 in Room 4. Sign up in the career center. Sere Kathy Ruggles in Room 302 for more information.
–Positive Community Kitchen is holding a work party this Saturday, April 20th, from 12 to 3 pm on the Northwest Youth Core Property (at 2621 Augusta St). PCK is a local non-profit that provides nourishing meals to people in our community fighting a life-threatening illness. Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes to the work party and be prepared for sun or rain. For more information, contact Meg Payette, PCK garden manager, or visit the career center.
Axe Dance Team: Audition Packets are available in the office. Pick one up and return it to the dance mailbox in the office before auditions on May 10th.
Math Club: Math Club meets Wednesday at lunch in room 710.
Attention All Seniors: Musical Auditions for graduation will be held on May 1st from 3:30-4:30pm in the bandroom. Please sign up in the front office, see Trista with questions.
Counseling Office: AP Students – This Friday is the last Pre-Administration meeting for you to attend. This is mandatory if you plan on testing in May. Please come to Cafeteria right after school on Friday, the meeting with be approximately 45 mins. If you have any questions please see Melinda in the counseling office.
Red Cross Club: This is a reminder from the Red Cross Club to sign up to volunteer with the First Aid Service Team for this Saturday’s shift at the UO spring game.
Seniors: All fines and fees must be paid before you can sign up for graduation seating. First step is to pick up your check-off card Tuesday, April 22nd in the AV room. Second, get the card stamped by all four departments. Third, take your stamped card to the Counseling Office Tuesday, April 23rd, through Friday, April 26th to select your seat for graduation between the hours of 8:15 to 10:00 or 12:30 and 4:00.
