Dance Team: We are proud to announce that the Axe varsity dance team is heading to the OSAA dance team state championship in Portland today! If you see an Axe dancer in the hallway, be sure to wish them luck!

Feminist Union: Today’s empowering woman for your Women’s History Month Announcements is Anna May Wong, the first Chinese American movie star. She was born in the early 20th century, when it was typical for characters of color to be portrayed by white actors. Nonetheless, Wong gained prominence as an Asian American actress. Starting in minor film roles as a teenager, she was eventually cast in leading roles of several movies. She went on to act in dozens of movies, and her career showcased the importance of racial representation in film.
South Eugene Music: The best singers at South team up with the hilariously interactive comedy of our Sketch Club to bring you a night of entertainment you won’t soon forget! This Saturday the local Vocal Throwdown is at 7:00pm in the Little Theater. $7 for students and $10 for adults at the door.
