Career Center:  

-Sophomores and Juniors- Interested in joining the National Honor Society?  Applications are now available in the Career Center and are due on April 4th.

-The Earl Hulstrom Masonic Lodge scholarship gives six $1,500 awards to Eugene area seniors attending a public educational institute in Oregon.  It requires a minimum 3.0 GPA. Apply at the Career Center by April 1st.

 

Math Club:  Match Club meets Wednesday at lunch in room 710.

 

Scheduling:  Attention all current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders!  All forecasting activities must be completed by this Friday, March 15th.  Please enter your courses online in Studentvue and submit your paper copy to the scheduling or main office.  Feel free to visit counseling or scheduling should you need any help.

 

Young Democrats Union:  4J school board elections are coming up.  Drop by room 410 Fridays at lunch to get involved and make positive change.

 

Feminist Union:  This March, Feminist Union is celebrating Women’s History Month with information about influential women from history and present day.  TOday’s empowering woman is Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court. As a judge, she presents a strong voice in favor of gender equality, the rights of workers, and the separation of church and state.  In addition to the Supreme Court, RBG has been a part of the Women’s Rights Project of the American Civil Liberties Union and the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

 

South Eugene Music:  The best singers at South team up with the hilariously interactive comedy of our Sketch Club to bring you a night of entertainment you won’t soon forget!  This Saturday the local Vocal Throwdown is at 7:00pm in the Little Theater. $7 for students and $10 for adults at the door.

 

Student Government:  We will have Latino Student Union in the cafeteria today at lunch.  If you’re interested, show up today!

 

Yearbook:  Attention Seniors!  YOu have one week to vote yearbook senior superlatives for the class of 2019.  Please check your email and click the link provided to fill out the survey or add who you want for this years choices!  See Bobbie Willis or Zach Menegat 5th period in room 3 if you have any questions.
