-Two scholarship deadlines are being extended: The OSAC scholarship application has been extended to March 5th at 5pm, the LCC Scholarship application is now due March 7th at midnight. See the Career Center for details.
Axe Pageant and South Helping Kids: Come to Prince Pucklers tonight from 6pm-10pm to support the Axe pageant fundraiser! Axe Pageant contestants will be serving and it’s a sweet way to support the Children’s Miracle Network.
Feminist Union: This March, Feminist Union is celebrating Women’s History Month with information about influential women from history and present day. Today’s empowering woman is Marsha P. Johnson. She was famous for her beautiful personality, although law enforcement painted her as a ‘vagrant.’ As a young transgender woman in the sixties, she was instrumental in starting the Stonewall riots. Her efforts in the homeless and LGBTQ+ community made her a leading voice in both causes.

Olympic Lifting Club: Are you wishing to become stronger, faster, or more explosive? Improve your flexibility and general fitness? If you’re thinking “yes” to any of these questions-you should join South’s Olympic Lifting Club. Coached by University of Oregon instructors, South Eugene’s Olympic Lifting Club meets in the weight room on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:45 with workouts ending at 6:00 pm.
