-Feminist Union meets in room 409 during lunch today.
-This March, Feminist Union is celebrating Women’s History Month with information about important women from history and present day. Today’s empowering women is Mary Wollstonecraft, a British feminist alive during the 18th century. In her book, A Vindication of the Rights of Women, she used the principles of the Enlightenment, such as natural human rights, to argue that women should have the same social and political rights as men. Her thinking laid the groundwork for later feminist philosophy.
