Daily Announcements Friday, September 22

Dance Request Form: If you want to bring a guest to the homecoming dance on September 30th, make sure you pick up a guest request form in the main office. All forms are due by next Wednesday. Make sure you pay close attention to deadlines, as they will be strictly enforced.

Parking: Attention all students: Make sure you are parking in designated student lots as ticketing will begin Monday. Please refer to the Student Handbook for lot clarifications.

Career Center: Several great scholarships are coming due next week. Questbridge College Match and Beat the Odds Scholarships are both substantial award to qualified students. Questbridge is due September 27th and Beat the Odds on September 30th. Two other scholarships are due on September 30th: Baby Monitor 101 and Chick Evans Scholarship for Cold Caddies. Stop by the Career Center or check out South’s website under “Current Scholarships” for more information.

Bikes: Do you ride a bike to school? If so, come register your bike with the Eugene Police Department on Thursday, September 28th, from 3-4pm. The police department will have stations set up by the west bike cage and in front of the school register you bike for free and receive tips on keeping you bike safe while parked at school.

Homecoming: Spirit week is next week!

Class competitions will begin on Monday. Find the large posters and flyers posted around the school and use the links to connect to the homecoming digital flyer.  This has all the information about the events of the week. 

 

Dress-up days begin on Monday with Pajama day!

 

Wednesday will be hallway decorating!  Everyone is welcome to come by after school and help with your class hallway.  There will be music and pizza!  Thursday teachers will vote to award points for each hallway.  Don’t miss it!

 

Friday will have an assembly with more class competitions.

 

Last year, the seniors were able to pull out the win with their awesome hallway and strong showing during the assembly relays.
