Spirit Week: Next week is SPIRIT WEEK! Starting Tuesday is Twin Tuesday, followed by Whacky Wednesday, Tropical Thursday, and Flower Child Friday! Who will be your twin?

 

Spring Fest: Spring Fest is next Friday, June 2nd in the Science Courtyard during lunch. It is an extended lunch, so there will be live music, ice cream, and art wall, henna and much more! Hope to see you there!

 

Career Center: The Career Center will close for the school year on Thursday, June 15th.  If you have not completed your Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior Project, please do so as soon as possible!

Career Center: There are still several scholarships available and some are coming due in the next week. The South Eugene Axepresso Scholarship for seniors who have worked in Axepresso; the Acacia Fraternity at OSU award; scholarship for students pursuing animation or fashion fields; the Best Reviews Scholarship; and the CG Trader Scholarship for an essay on 3D Design. Stop by the Career Center to find out more or check out South’s website under “current scholarships.”

Rotary Interact: Are you interested in meeting new people, completing your volunteer hours, and making a difference in the community? Join Rotary Interact Club in volunteering at the Food for Lane County Kitchen tonght from 6-9 pm if you are! More information and a sign-up sheet can be found in the office.

YMCA: Do you want a job as a lifeguard? The YMCA is hiring! Call Sabrina at 541-686-9622 or email Sabrina@eugeneymca.org or come see Debra in the office and take a picture of the flyer.

 

South Eugene Theater: This year, South Theater won first and second place in the state playwriting competition as well as the State Chapter Select One Act competition. All three if these plays will be performed on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Little Theater. All tickets are only $5.00 and are available online at southeugenetheater.org and at the door. All proceeds go to the South Eugene Theater Trip to Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska.

 

Asian Student Union: Want free food? The ASU is hosting an event next Wednesday, May 31st during lunch in room 720. Help us celebrate the end of Asian Pacific American History Month with free food, candy, and a chance to win a gift card to the Rabbit Hole, and more!
